Centre and States Chart Roadmap for the Next Phase of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and ABDM at NHA National Review Meeting (Chintan Shivir)

The National Health Authority (NHA) began a two‑day National Review Meeting (Chintan Shivir) in New Delhi to assess the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM‑JAY) and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). Union Minister Shri Prataprao Jadhav released the NHA Annual Report and a compendium of guidelines for District Implementation Units, Beneficiary Empowerment and Hospital Empanelment. The meeting highlighted that AB PM‑JAY has enabled cashless treatment worth over ₹1.91 lakh crore through more than 37,000 empanelled hospitals, while ABDM has generated over 94 crore ABHA numbers and linked more than 100 crore health records. Discussions covered digital‑health initiatives such as Aarogya Setu 2.0, the upgraded Ayushman App, the National Health Claims Exchange, and the use of AI and data analytics to improve governance and evidence‑based policymaking.
