MY Bharat National Youth Volunteers Convention Brings Together 1500 + Volunteers In Lucknow

The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, through the Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) programme, held a National Youth Volunteers Convention at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow, on 17 July 2026. Nearly 1500 volunteers from Uttar Pradesh participated. Union Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya highlighted the demographic advantage of India (≈65 % under 35) and urged volunteers to connect 300 young people to the MY Bharat portal and register 100 active Youth Clubs within three months. The event featured orientation on the MY Bharat portal, leadership sessions, a cultural presentation on the ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat’ campaign, and felicitation of the top five winners of the Nation First Challenge.
