CSIR-NIScPR and Office of CGPDTM signed MoU to Strengthen Access to Global Knowledge Resources through NKRC
The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM) and CSIR‑National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR‑NIScPR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to join the National Knowledge Resource Consortium (NKRC). The MoU, signed at Saraswati Hall, New Delhi, will give CGPDTM access to NKRC’s extensive collection of scientific, technical, patent and bibliographic resources, supporting patent examination, prior‑art searches and evidence‑based decision‑making. The partnership is expected to yield substantial cost savings through the consortium model and open avenues for joint work in patent information services, intellectual‑property management, science communication, policy research, capacity building and digital knowledge management.
