CSIR-Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI) today commenced its year-long Platinum Jubilee Celebrations with the launch of a nationwide first-phase implementation of advanced indigenous road infrastructure technologies across 16 towns or locations across the country.

The CSIR‑Central Road Research Institute (CSIR‑CRRI) began its Platinum Jubilee (July 2026‑July 2027) by launching a first‑phase rollout of advanced indigenous road‑infrastructure technologies in 16 towns across India. Union Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurated the event, highlighted industry‑research partnerships, and launched the Automatic Modified Mix Seal Surfacing (MSS+) Smart Mix Pro Plant, an AI‑enabled Network Survey Vehicle, and the PATCH‑FILL pothole‑repair technology. Several technologies were commercialised through licensing and transfer agreements, including LUMETRA, MSS+ Smart Mix Pro, Bio‑Binder, and PAVE‑SEAL. The Institute aims to scale these solutions to one‑third of the national road network, emphasizing sustainable, waste‑to‑wealth and Atmanirbhar Bharat outcomes.
