Two-Day Regional Workshop Organised to Develop Strategy and Roadmap for Achieving the National Vision of 6 Crore Lakhpati Didis

The Ministry of Rural Development, in partnership with Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS‑JEEVIKA), convened a two‑day regional workshop at BIPARD, Gaya, on 16‑17 July 2026. The event produced a comprehensive strategy, roadmap and an Annual Action Plan for FY 2026‑27 aimed at achieving the national vision of 6 Crore Lakhpati Didis. Senior officials, state mission heads, development partners and a Gates Foundation representative deliberated on farm and non‑farm livelihoods, digital MIS, convergence and enterprise promotion. The workshop also launched the book “Fostering Pathways for Rural Transformation” and formalised an MoU between BRLPS‑JEEVIKA and the Arunachal State Rural Livelihood Mission to enhance institutional collaboration.
