MoS Labour & Employment, Shobha Karandlaje, leads Visit of BRICS Labour and Employment Ministers to Bosch Global Software Technologies and CII Green Business Centre in Hyderabad

The Union Minister of State for Labour & Employment, Shobha Karandlaje, led the BRICS Labour and Employment Ministers’ visit to Bosch Global Software Technologies and the CII Green Business Centre in Hyderabad as part of the 12th BRICS Labour and Employment Ministers’ Meeting (LEMM) under India’s BRICS Presidency. The delegation was briefed on India’s growing Global Capability Centre (GCC) ecosystem – over 2,100 GCCs employing more than 2.36 million professionals, with Hyderabad hosting nearly 400 GCCs – and on initiatives in AI‑driven digital innovation, future‑ready skilling, and green building/ESG practices. A sapling‑planting ceremony underscored the collective commitment to sustainable industrial development.
