Ministry of Ayush signs MoU with University of Delhi to advance research, innovation and sustainable utilisation of medicinal plants

The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) of the Ministry of AYUSH and the University of Delhi’s Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences (BCAS) signed a MoU at Kartavya Bhawan, New Delhi, to foster long‑term collaboration on scientific research, product development, innovation, value addition, post‑harvest technologies, sustainable packaging, technology transfer and capacity building for medicinal plants. The partnership aims to integrate traditional knowledge with modern science, enhance the global competitiveness of India’s medicinal‑plant sector, generate livelihood opportunities, and support biodiversity conservation and the bio‑economy.
