IIM Nagpur Inaugurates 12th MBA and 6th PhD Batches; Women Form Majority in New Cohorts

The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur inaugurated its 12th MBA batch (2026‑28) and 6th PhD batch (2026‑30). The MBA programme admitted 341 students, of whom 177 are women (52 %). In the PhD batch, six of the seven scholars are women. Students hail from 23 states, with non‑engineering backgrounds outnumbering engineers, and about 40 % bring prior work experience. The Director highlighted the need to develop knowledge, values and leadership for a rapidly evolving global economy.
