COMBINED GEO-SCIENTIST EXAMINATION, 2025

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued a press note on 29 Oct 2025 declaring the result of the Combined Geo‑Scientist Examination 2025, recommending 80 candidates for appointment. Pursuant to Rule 16(iv)&(v), a consolidated Reserve List was maintained. On the basis of a requisition from the Ministry of Mines, the Commission now recommends 16 candidates from this Reserve List: 13 for Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrogeology) and related posts (General‑04, OBC‑07, EWS‑01, SC‑01) and 3 for Geophysicist‑related posts (General‑02, EWS‑01). The Ministry of Mines will communicate directly with the selected candidates. Additionally, three candidates have provisional/conditional status (Conditional – 0390013; Provisional – 1090492, 0290224).
