MoFPI - NIFTEM, Thanjavur - Launching of pilot Short Term Skill Training Programme (STSTP) at ITC-Trichy

NIFTEM‑Thanjavur launched a Short‑term Skill Training Programme (STSTP) for Assistant Baking Technician (NSQF Level 3) in partnership with ITC Ltd’s Integrated Consumer Goods Manufacturing and Logistics (ICML) unit in Trichy on 3 July 2026. The programme was inaugurated by Prof V. Palanimuthu, Director, NIFTEM‑Thanjavur, with senior ITC officials present. The first batch of 18 trainees will receive industry‑integrated training from 7 July to 20 August 2026 at the ITC‑ICML facility, and they are assured employment with ITC Ltd. NIFTEM‑Thanjavur, as an NCVET‑recognised Deemed Awarding Body, delivers NSQF‑aligned certifications under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.
