Union Health Minister Shri J P Nadda Chairs 3rd Mission Steering Group Meeting of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission

Union Health Minister Shri J P Nadda chaired the 3rd Mission Steering Group meeting of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) on 10 July 2026. The meeting reviewed ABDM’s growth, noting over 93.95 crore ABHA numbers created, 105 crore health records linked, 5.33 lakh health facilities and 9.85 lakh healthcare professionals registered on national digital health registries. Around 2.72 lakh facilities have adopted ABDM‑enabled software and roughly 24 crore Scan & Register tokens have been generated for faster OPD registration. The group emphasized scaling adoption, leveraging AI, strengthening governance and integrating ABDM with programmes such as PM‑JAY, CGHS, ESIC and Nikshay to build a citizen‑centric, interoperable digital health ecosystem aligned with the ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ vision.
