Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of ICMR CHAMP at Keylong Stands Deferred Due to Adverse Weather Conditions

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announced that the foundation stone laying ceremony for the ICMR Centre for High Altitude Medicine and Public Health Research (ICMR CHAMP) in Keylong, Lahaul & Spiti district, Himachal Pradesh, scheduled for 11 July 2026, has been postponed due to continuous heavy rainfall and landslides that have affected accessibility and safety. A new date will be communicated later.
