Vice President virtually addresses inauguration of Permanent Exhibition on Journey of Vande Mataram and International Seminar on Sardar Patel’s Vision of Integration, Unification and Federalism organised by IIAS, Shimla

The Vice‑President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, virtually inaugurated a permanent exhibition on the Journey of Vande Mataram and a three‑day international seminar on Sardar Patel’s Vision of Integration, Unification and Federalism, organized by the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla. He marked the 150th anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram and the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, underscoring Vande Mataram’s role in uniting freedom fighters and Patel’s integration of princely states into a single Republic. The Vice‑President highlighted the need for daily patriotism through honesty, excellence and unity, and expressed confidence that the exhibition and seminar will inspire future generations.
