Union Health Minister Shri JP Nadda Reviews Progress of AIIMS Bibinagar, Hyderabad

Union Health Minister Shri J P Nadda reviewed AIIMS Bibinagar, an Institute of National Importance set up under Phase‑VII of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana in 2019. The project, started in June 2022, has so far cost ₹1,110.55 crore, with about 87.4 % of construction (≈₹902 crore) completed, including 250‑bed inpatient facilities, emergency services, CT/MRI/DEXA labs and a forthcoming Cath Lab. The institute serves ~1,800 out‑patients daily, runs 24 MD and five DM/MCh programmes, and hosts 902 students. It has adopted six villages, held 547 mobile medical camps, benefitted 66,148 patients via RHTC/UHTC, and secured ₹64 crore in research grants across 129 projects.
