LOKAYAN 26 - INS SUDARSHINI CONCLUDES PORT CALL AT NEW YORK, USA

The Indian Navy’s sail training ship INS Sudarshini, part of the 10‑month Lokayan 2026 trans‑oceanic expedition, completed its port call in New York on 8 July 2026. During the visit the ship participated in the Parade of Sail at the International Naval Review 250, hosted over 1,000 visitors, and entertained senior diplomats including the Consul General of India and the Indian Ambassador to the UN. A State Dinner aboard the vessel reinforced the India‑US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. After New York, INS Sudarshini proceeded to Boston for the Sail Boston 2026 celebrations, continuing its role as a floating ambassador of India’s maritime heritage and diplomatic outreach.
