Quality Council of India and National Small Industries Corporation Sign MoU to Strengthen Quality, Competitiveness and Market Access for MSMEs

The Quality Council of India (QCI) and the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to create a collaborative ecosystem that enhances quality, competitiveness and market access for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The MoU integrates the ZED Certification Scheme, MSME Global Mart, the TEAM Initiative and the Single Point Registration Scheme, aiming to expand digital commerce via ONDC, strengthen testing and accreditation (NABL, NABET) and provide capacity‑building programmes. A Joint Coordination Committee will meet quarterly for five years to monitor progress. The partnership aligns with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and seeks to foster globally competitive Indian MSMEs.
